Prenatal Partners Yoga
With Sandi Smith-Grove: ERYT200, Licensed Midwife and Prenatal Educator
What to Expect
Open to the pregnant person and her primary Birth Partner, an all level 2-hour workshop to help prepare for labor and birth.
Yoga can be an essential component in remaining grounded, calm and present during birth and beyond. Our workshop begins with a gentle yoga sequence to stretch and move the spine. We’ll work with the breath and poses for strength, flexibility and opening. Class ends with a deep relaxation for all. Along the way we’ll add in effective and comforting poses for pregnancy and labor, massage for the pregnant person, and affirmations for both.
All trimesters and birth philosophies welcome, no yoga experience necessary. This workshop complements any birthing preparation classes you may be taking. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, bring a light snack and water bottle.
Class is $120 per couple offered quarterly.
Next session: Saturday, March 8th, 3:30-5:30PM
